What housing in Avan is like
Avan is one of the older parts of the city: it is home to the early medieval Avan Cathedral, and the Botanical Garden is nearby. Most of the housing is multi-storey blocks from the second half of the last century, with standard layouts, loggias and balconies. Between them and on the outskirts there are private houses with yards and gardens, while new residential complexes have appeared on the border with Arinj in recent years.
